Mitsubishi Electric’s UPS System Wins Electrical Products & Solutions Magazine’s Top Products Award

WARRENDALE, Penn. – January 8, 2013 – With efficiencies of up to 93.4 percent, a high 0.9 output power factor and a lightweight, space-saving design, the three-phase DiamondPlus 1100 Series Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) unit from Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc., has been named one of the top products of 2012 by Electrical Products & Solutions magazine.

Each year the magazine’s editors choose the top products in the electrical industry market based on their uniqueness, benefits and reliability. The energy-efficient DiamondPlus 1100 is one of only 18 products to receive the award in this year’s competition.

The compact DiamondPlus1100 is available in a variety of power ratings ranging from 10kVA to 50 kVA, and can be arranged in an N+1 configuration. The unit’s fully digital screen and front access allows easy monitoring, while “hot swappable” power and battery modules promote maximum flexibility and rapid mean time to repair (MTTR).

The DiamondPlus 1100 is the newest of Mitsubishi Electric’s award-winning UPS systems. The 9900 Series UPS received Electrical Products & Solutions magazine’s top products award in 2010 and a bronze award in Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s 2011 Product of the Year competition.
